So I think I may have the perfect breakfast for your and your kiddos ! Baked Vanilla French Toast for the win. So easy and can be prepared the night before and baked the next morning. Prefect for those busy weekdays or those lazy weekends. Or hey, if breakfast for dinner is your fancy, its perfect for that too.
Such a simple recipe turns out to be something so delicious. Let’s start out by slicing our bread and placing it in a 9×13 inch pan. Set that aside until your have your egg mixture ready. Beat 8 eggs with milk, heavy cream, brown sugar, sugar and of course Vanilla. If you’d like feel free to add some cinnamon also.
Bake for 55-65 minutes depending on the consistency you want. For a looser consistency, bake for about 45-50 min. Once the French toast comes out of the oven, dust with powdered sugar and enjoy.

Baked Vanilla French Toast
Ingredients
- 1 Loaf French Bread
- 8 Eggs
- 1 1/2 cups Milk
- 1 cup Heavy Cream
- 1/2 cup Brown Sugar
- 1/2 cup Sugar
- 1 tablespoon Vanilla Extract
- 1/2 tablespoon Cinnamon Optional
Instructions
- 1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees. 2. Slice bread into desired thickness. Butter a 9×13 inch baking dish. Place the bread in the baking dish and set aside. In a large bowl, mix all of the remaining ingredients together. Pour over the bread mixture, making sure to get between each slice of bread. 3. Bake for 55-60 minutes depending on your desired consistency.
