Growing up I absolutely loved Rice Krispy treats! And secretly to this day, I still do. They are truly a childhood staple and can probably be found in lunch boxes and birthday parties across America!

I loved days when we had “potlucks” in school and someones mom made homemade rice krispy treats, ugh talk about a 8 year old being in sugar overload heaven.
I’ve been wanting to make a batch of Rice Krispy Treats for a few weeks now but wanted a different spin on them…so why not add my other fav cereal. FRUITY PEBBLES!!!!!

This recipe is simple, delicious and so nostalgic that you make just find yourself eating the entire pan. The best part about this recipe is that its super kid friendly. SO lets get started shall we?
You are going to need: 9 in square pan, mini Marshmallows, Marshmallow fluff, Rice Krispies and Fruity Pebbles.
Go ahead and grab a 9 in square pan and line it will parchment paper. This will make it so much easier to get the Rice Krispies out of the pan. In a heavy bottomed sauce pan, melt 4 tablespoons of butter, then add in marshmallows. Mix until marshmallows are melted and combined with butter.

In a large bowl, pour the Rice Krispies and Fruity Pebbles in the bowl, then the cup of fluff. Pour over the marshmallow and butter mixture. Mix until fully combined then pour into the pan. Top with extra Fruity Pebbles for good measure.
See, so quick and easy! I’m sure you will enjoy eating them as much as you enjoyed making them.
