Ingredients

Biscuit Dough

  • 2 cup All Purpose Flour
  • 1/3 cup Sugar
  • 1 1/2 teaspoon Baking Powder
  • Pinch of Salt
  • 1/2 cup Unsalted Butter cubed
  • 1/2 cup Buttermilk
  • 1 teaspoon Buttermilk

Blueberry Filling

  • 8 cup Frozen Blueberries
  • 1/3 cup Sugar
  • 3 Tablespoon All purpose Flour
  • 1 Tablespoon Sugar in the Raw

Instructions

  • 1. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees. Spray a baking pan or skillet with non-stick baking spray.
    2. In a medium bowl combine the flour, sugar, baking powder, salt and butter together until butter is well incorporated and pea sized. Add in the buttermilk. Set aside.
    3. In a seperate medium bowl, mix together the blueberries, sugar, and flour together. Pour into a 9x13 inch baking pan or a 12 inch non-stick skillet. Spoon the biscuit dough over the blueberries. Brush the biscuit dough with buttermilk and sprinkle with sugar in the raw.
    4. Bake for 35-40 minutes or until the biscuits are golden brown. Enjoy with vanilla ice cream.
