Do you remember those little peanut butter cookies that came in the yellow package that was often sold in most convenient stores? Well these Peanut Butter cookies are just about spot on to those. These are soft, sweet, salty and all types of peanut buttery goodness.
I start out by pre- heating the oven to 350 degrees. While the oven is preheating I put my softened butter and sugars in my mixing bowl. I blend until the sugars and butter are well combined. Add the eggs one at a time, allowing each to fully incorporate. Add the Vanilla and then the dry ingredients.
Scoop the cookies on to a baking and sheet. Pop them into the oven for about 8-9 minutes. While these are baking feel free to take in the heavenly aroma coming from your oven.
Once these come out of the oven, please allow them to cool off, don’t be like me and burn your tongue and fingers being impatient.
I served these with a cup of cold milk but one of my co workers suggested I try eating them with chocolate milk….can I just tell you….Life changing!!!
Enjoy!
