Hot Fudge Cake

Chocolate Fudgy Cake with a amazing chocolate sauce at the bottom.

Ingredients

  • 2 cups All Purpose Flour
  • 1 1/2 cup Sugar
  • 1/4 cup Cocoa Powder
  • 1 tablespoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup Milk
  • 4 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract

Chocolate Sauce

  • 1 1/2 cups brown sugar
  • 1/2 cups cocoa powder
  • 3 cups Boiling water

Instructions

  • 1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
    2. In a medium bowl combine the flour, sugar, cocoa powder, baking powder, salt, vegetable oil, milk and vanilla. Mixture will be thick. Pour into a ungreased 9x13 pan. 
    3. In a medium sauce pan, bring the water to a boil. While the water is heating up, mix the brown sugar and cocoa powder together and sprinkle over the chocolate batter. Once the water boils, pour over the brown sugar and cake mixture. Bake for 35-40 minutes. 
    4. Serve with ice cream!
