Ingredients

Chocolate Mocha Pound Cake

  • 3 Sticks Butter Melted
  • 1 cup Brewed Coffee
  • 1 cup Cocoa Powder
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla Extract
  • 2 1/2 cups Granulated Sugar
  • 4 Eggs
  • 2 1/2 cup All Purpose Flour
  • 1 teaspoon Baking Powder
  • 1/2 cup Sour Cream

Ganache

  • 1/2 cup Heavy Cream
  • 1/2 cup Semi- Sweet Chocolate Chips

Instructions

Chocolate Mocha Pound Cake

  • 1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
    2. In a microwavable safe bowl, melt butter. Add the cocoa powder, vanilla, coffee and mix together. Let cool for about 2 minutes.
    3. Add in eggs and sour cream. Next, fold in the dry ingredients until well combined.
    4. Pour the batter into a greased 10 inch bundt pan or 2 inch loaf pans.
    5. Bake for 55-60 minutes or until toothpick comes out clean.

Ganache

  • 1. Heat heavy cream in microwavable safe bowl.
    2. Add in chocolate chips. Let it sit for about 5 minutes without stirring.
    3. After about 5 minutes, stir the chocolate the and heavy cream together.
