This Chai Spiced Apple Crumble is the perfect fall dessert. Warm chai spices, covering tart apples and topped with a crumbly chai spiced oat crumble. It’s everything you didn’t know you needed for fall.

Apple Crumble is by far the best Fall dessert hands down. I’m willing to take that up with anyone! It’s so simple to make, but creates the absolute best dessert, or breakfast.
What makes this Apple Crumble so delicious?
This Chai Spiced Apple Crumble is so delicious and perfect for those chilly fall days. Warm chai spices like cardamom, nutmeg and cinnamon, cover the tart granny smith apples. Then those same spices are mixed with oats to create the perfect crumbly oat topping.

How to make the Chai Spice Apple Crumble
- Granny Smith Apples: Tart Granny Smith apples is the base of this delicious crumble
- Flour: This is what helps thicken the cooked apples so we don’t end up with a soupy mess.
- Spices: Cinnamon, Nutmeg, cloves, allspice, ginger and cardamom come together to create a delicious chai spice that takes this Apple Crumble over the top
In a medium bowl, mix the flour, sugar, cinnamon, ginger, nutmeg, cloves, allspice, ground cardamom together and set aside.
Cut and slice 6 medium granny smith apples. Be sure to make sure they are the same size.
To make the topping, add butter, oats, flour and spices to a bowl and mix until well combined. The topping will be crumbly.

To keep the skin or not to keep the skin!
This is entirely a personal choice. I honestly prefer to peel my apples because I don’t like biting into the apple skin. You can definitely keep the skin on and the taste will still just as amazing.
How long to bake the Chai Spiced Apple Crumble for?
Bake the crumble for 45 minutes at 350 degrees. The topping will be golden brown.

How to serve the Apple Crumble
It’s best to serve the Chai Spiced Apple Crumble when it’s warm. I like to serve it with a nice healthy scoop of vanilla bean ice cream ,with whipped cream or both! Completely up to you. It’s also incredible with a nice cup of coffee. This is truly the perfect dessert or breakfast for whatever fall occasion.
How to store?
It’s best to store the crumble in a airtight container in the fridge after it cools. This will allow it to stay as fresh as possible especially since it has fresh apples.

Ingredients
Oat Crumble Topping
- 6 tablespoon Butter
- 1 cup Old Fashioned Oats
- 1/2 cup All Purpose
- 1/2 cup Granulated Sugar
- 1/2 cup Brown Sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon Ground Cinnamon
- 1/4 teaspoon Ground Ginger
- 1/8 teaspoon Ground Cloves
- 1/8 teaspoon Ground All Spice
- 1/8 teaspoon Ground Cardamom
Chai Spiced Apples
- 6 Medium Size Granny Smith Apples
- 1 1/2 tablespoon All Purpose Flour
- 1/3 cup Sugar
- 1 teaspoon Cinnamon
- 1/2 teaspoon Ground Ginger
- 1/4 teaspoon Ground Nutmeg
- 1/8 teaspoon Ground Cloves
- 1/8 teaspoon All Spice
- 1/8 teaspoon Ground Cardamom
Instructions
Oat Crumble Topping
- 1. In a medium bowl, combine all ingredients together until full combined. Set Aside.
Chai Spice Apple
- 1. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit.2. Grease a 9 inch pie plate with non stick cooking spray.3. Cut, core and slice apples ensure the apples are a uniform size. 4. Place apples in a bowl, toss with flour, sugar and spices. 5. Pour into the prepared pie plate and top with the Oat Crumble. 6. Bake for 45 minutes or until the Oat Topping is golden brown. 7. Serve immediately with Ice cream.
