Brownie Parfaits are such a fun and simple way to use up any leftover brownies you might have on hand. It’s also the perfect date night recipe as you can make as many or as little as you need.
What kind of brownies can I use?
You can use whatever type of brownies you have on hand for this brownie parfait recipe. I used leftover brownies from my Oreo Cheesecake Brownie Recipe however if you have store-bought or boxed mix, that will work in this recipe too.
Ingredients for Easy Brownie Parfaits
- 4-5 Homemade, store-bought or boxed brownies
- Heavy Cream
- Vanilla extract
- Powdered Sugar
How to make Parfaits
Start by cutting your brownies into bite sized pieces. Place a layer of brownies onto the bottom of your serving dish, then a layer of Homemade Whipped Cream followed by another layer of brownie. I top it off with a little more whipped cream and any toppings I may want. Shaved chocolate, pecans or even caramel sauce would be delicious on top of the parfaits.
Do I have to use brownies?
You can certainly use something other than brownies. Cut up pieces of donuts, cake or even cookies would be delicious in this parfait.
I absolutely love using brownies because they are so rich, fudgy and the whipped cream in the parfait pairs so well with it. If your looking for a brownie recipe, my oreo cheesecake, salted caramel, peanut butter banana, or nutella swirled brownies would all be perfect in this recipe!
How long will the parfaits stay fresh?
I would highly recommend making and eating these brownie parfaits the day of, however, these will stay fresh up to 2 days. If your going to make the parfaits a day ahead, I would suggest covering the parfaits tightly until ready to serve.
How to serve parfaits
If your only serving the brownie parfaits for a few people, these would fit perfectly into small single serve jars. These weck jars are absolutely perfect for that! If your serving a crowd, a glass parfait dish would work great for this and it makes for beautiful presentation.

Easy Brownie Parfait
Quick and easy brownie parfaits in single serve glasses.
- 3-4 Leftover Brownies
- 1 cup Heavy Cream
- 2 teaspoons Vanilla Extract
- 1 tablespoon Powdered Sugar
1. Cut up brownies in bite sized pieces.
2. In a stand mixer, whip the heavy cream, powdered sugar and vanilla extract until stiff peaks form, about 1-2 minutes.
3. Assemble the parfaits by adding in a layer of brownies, then whipped cream, then brownies then whipped cream.
4. Serve immediately.
